Philosophy courses, prefixed PHIL, at the University of Saint Francis will introduce you to significant thinkers, fundamental issues and comprehensive theories of reality, knowledge and action. These courses will enhance your critical thinking abilities, analytical and expressive skills, and self-understanding. You will learn to think through problems, consider widely different approaches and methodologies, assess various courses of action and appreciate the meaning of different ways of life. In addition, you will develop a well-grounded view of the world, society, politics, family and culture.

Upon graduation, you will be able to gain employment in business, government, law, management, medical care, research and writing. You will also be prepared to pursue advanced study in philosophy, medicine, law or business.
